Cake pops

Conservate i cake pops in frigorifero.

Buon appetito Angela.

English version

I saw them many times on the net until I succumbed to their charm … what am I talking about? But of cake pops of course! I really wanted to make these cake lollipops. I followed the recipe for Saffron Yellow.

First, get some sponge cake or leftover cake, (snacks are also good, for once 😉

I had a half-eaten chocolate panettone that nobody spun me and I used that.

Cake pops procedure:

It mixes with jam (but you can also use the hazelnut cream or mascarpone) balls are formed which are then covered with dark, milk or white chocolate.

Finally decorate the cake pops with sugar sprinkles, grated coconut, melted chocolate or chopped hazelnuts!

Crumble the cake with your fingers, eventually removing the crust if it turns out to be too dry and place the crumbs in a bowl, add two spoons of your favorite jam or the hazelnut cream, mascarpone, in short, what you have decided to use!

Form the meatballs that you will place on a sheet of parchment paper and leave to harden in the freezer for about half an hour.

In the meantime, melt the chocolate in a water bath (I do it in the microwave). Dip the cake pops, add the codette, hazelnuts, coconut … and leave to dry.

Store the cake pops in the refrigerator.

Enjoy your meal Angela.
