Cereali fatti in casa

Perché mi sono messa a fare i cereali fatti in casa vi starete chiedendo voi? Semplice!

Ingredienti Cereali fatti in casa:

Cereali fatti in casa procedimento:

Felice colazione Angela.

english version

Why did I start making homemade cereals are you wondering? Simple! First loves a well-known brand of mixed cereals: oats, chocolate and hazelnuts, or even with dried fruit. What’s the problem? That a box costs almost 4 euros (contains palm oil) and weighs 375 gr. practically after 5 days it is already over if only he eats it, two days if his brother wants it too. I read the ingredients and I decided that I can make these cereals at home, making them healthier and spending less.

Homemade Cereal Ingredients:

corn flakes 150 gr

50 gr of dried fruit (coconut, apricot, pineapple, raisins, cranberries etc is packaged in sachets) if you want to make them with dried fruit, I have opted for the chocolate ones that Second also likes.

50 gr of honey (for vegans replace with maple syrup)

30 g of microwave melted butter (not necessary)

50 gr of chocolate chips.

50 gr of chopped toasted almonds

50 gr of chopped toasted hazelnuts

two tablespoons of brown sugar

1 bit of fruit juice to taste.

Homemade Cereals Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it becomes as in the photo above. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake at 120 ° for 20/30 minutes. They will have to become crisp and dry. Before storing them in a jar, let them cool well.

With the same procedure you can make the cereal bars suitable also to be eaten at school or away from home in the afternoon. Or muesli biscuits.

Happy breakfast Angela.
