English version

If you have pandoro at home and you have grown tired of eating it simple you can prepare the: Pandoro stuffed with mascarpone. It is really easy to prepare and without cooking. Last year I had done a similar procedure but in the cups. Or you can prepare Pandoro stars with custard.

Pandoro ingredients stuffed with mascarpone:

1 pandoro

500 gr of mascarpone

150 g icing sugar for the cream

500 ml of fresh cream

coffee milk to wet

icing sugar to decorate

Pandoro procedure stuffed with mascarpone:

Take the mascarpone out of the fridge at least half an hour before using it. In the meantime, whip the fresh cream, which must instead be very cold.

Whip the mascarpone with the sugar and mix it by hand with the cream.

Put the mascarpone cream to rest in the refrigerator.

In the meantime, prepare the sweetened milk coffee to wet the pandoro, I had soluble cappuccino that I no longer used and I heated the one in the microwave.

Take the pandoro and cut it horizontally to obtain about 7/8 discs of equal height.

Take the discs obtained and sprinkle with the milk coffee, then add the mascarpone cream. Continue in this way until all the pandoro is recomposed. Put it to rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

Take it out of the fridge and decorate it to taste. We simply added some icing sugar.

For us it has become an improvised birthday cake 🙂 Happy holidays!
